Just got off phone with real estate agent discussing a property that I saw on craigslist. Explained to them I am a interior bldg supplier and I can provide all of my own home finishing and was interested in a foreclosure that needs some repair.... cash purchase. His response is that I need to determine how much I want to spend on this new home and show/demonstrate proof of funds inorder to make an offer. As well if I was to want to finance property also I would need to provide a pre-approval letter to submit an offer. How do I respond to that?
