And well, a week has gone by.
For anyone who calls FOR RENT ads on craigslist or from yard signs, I will have a “template” as to what I use available to anyone who wants it, just let me know. I will be using it and refining it this week so I will report the results that I get.
I have a fellow real estate “buddy” that is also a student of Dean’s material. Here is my report to her as it may be valuable in some way to readers here on Dean’s (great) site.
I did call a real estate office and ask for an agent who works with investors (on Monday a.m. which as I mentioned would typically be a good time to find a “go-getter” in the office). My phone conversation and all went great but this agent has “dropped the ball” and not followed through with my requests. I will re-contact him tomorrow.
I have not called the “For Rent” signs; I only found two as I happened to be driving by a few this past week as I was conducting other business. I am creating a “template” to use when contacting those on craigslist and similar opportunities. Let me know if you’d like a copy; you’ll need to mix it up a bit so it isn’t “exactly” the same.
You asked me to share the titles of books I’m currently reading. As I mentioned, I read from about 10 daily so I’m up on things I can share in my seminars, workshops, and blogs. Here are the few I read from this morning: The Blogger’s Book (I’m known online as “The Man of 100 blogs”), 7 Kinds of Smart, Use Your Head to get your Foot in the Door, The Money Book for Kings Kids, How to Write and Sell Simple Information, Pray and Grow Rich, and two by Dean: Be a Real Estate Millionaire, and 30 Days to Real Estate Cash (that’s where the form that I gave you came from).
I look forward to hearing about your week. I will definitely work on contacting those “For Rent” signs and complete Dean’s “VIDEO assignment” from last week. Please let me know of your links for your Real Estate Clubs you found when you can. Also, I look forward to our next meeting.
