Reach for the STARS

Reach for the STARS

One of the most important steps to get moving in your business is to know where you want to go.
• What is your destination?
• What has to happen to get you to your destination?
• When are you going to start?
• How long will it take to get there?
• What kind of obstacles might get in the way?
• How are you going to overcome them?
• How important is it to you to get there?
Lots of questions; ALL extremely important to your business and what you want to achieve.
Here are 5 very important questions to ask yourself:
1) Do you have Goals?
2) Are they written down?
“If you have a goal, write it down. If you do not write it down, you do not have a goal - you have a wish.”
― Steve Maraboli
3) How often do you review them?
4) What areas do they cover? Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Financial & Social
5) Do you have balance in your life?
If you are spending all of your time and energy into just one area of your life, like your business and you neglect these other areas of your life. You might find yourself with financial freedom but have a health issue because you didn’t take care of yourself or alone because you didn’t build on your personal relationships.

What is a S.M.A.R.T.E.R. goal, it is an acronym that stands for:
Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Realistic
Timely
Evaluate
Re-evaluate/Reward
One of the biggest mistakes that is made when setting goals is that people are not specific to what they want to accomplish. Along with writing out an action plan. This will include Strategies, tactics and the process. Do you hope to be a successful real estate investor? I have to say, HOPE is not a good strategy.
Set up your dead line. That is the timely. This gives you something to shoot for.
The questions I ask on Realistic is: Do I have the time? Do I have the belief and Do I have the knowledge? If you can answer all three in the affirmative then it is a good goal, if not realign it with what you believe you can achieve with the time and knowledge that you do have.
You can NOT determine your future on where you are not, nor can you say that the future will be the same as the past. Your FUTURE is what you decide that it will be. This exercise is the key to your success!! Tonight I am going to teach you how to not only set your goals but also put in a plan of action.
“People don’t plan to fail, they fail to make a plan”
As you understand how to set smart goals you will be able to set a plan that will help you move past feelings of inadequacy and move forward to the greatest success you have ever had, up to this point. The sky is the limit after that.
Become the best you can be.
