We put in our first 4 offers this evening! Yeah! We have everything from beautiful and ready to move in to a house that was raided by the DEA! My partner and I looked at a property yesterday and kept saying "Something is wrong here. What happened". The door was laying on the living room floor and appeared to be kicked in. Today I Googled the property address with the word "Sheriff" and got our answer. It was one of 5 houses that was raded last April. They found over 6000 pot plants! The owner bypassed the electic meeter and did some...er...renovations. Beautiful area with all the houses going for considerably more. AR FMV of $414,000. We put in an offer for $193,000 on that one. Our RE agent said that she thinks of all of them, that one is the one we are most likely to get! Can you imagine, 50% below FMV! I have to say that the new fencing and security gate are nice. Hmm I think I will see if I can't find the other 4 houses that were raded.
