HI,
I saw your post this morning about more people losing their jobs and how the way unemployment numbers are increasing and how can we hope to find people who we can count on to pay the rent.
I had what I thought was a positive response but once I wrote it, I couldn't send it and my biggest problem is I do not know how to find a specific thread/post once I lose it.
HOWEVER >>>
I do think about the ever-increasing unemployment numbers all the time. I am just getting started here and I have made a small start, but thoughts like this do run through my head all the time! It's the devil sitting on my left shoulder, talking in my ear, and holding me back .
Then, I start to think about the ever-increasing number of foreclosures/pre-foreclosures. I have not even heard the term 'pre-foreclosures' mentioned in the media. (but I am on a news diet anyway - ho,ho,ho!)
The people losing their properties/homes are not necessarily losing their jobs too, they just cannot keep up with their higher mortgage payments.
I would doubt that any of the people in these situations will be looking to invest in RE soon, if ever again!
HOWEVER, THEY WILL ALL BE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE TO LIVE!
Yes, this is a highly emotional and scary time for countless numbers of families (a lot of us included if we are honest.)
It seems to me, because of our efforts here and a desire to change our lives, that we can be in a great position to help and provide solutions for so many people!!! (now that's the angel on my right shoulder talking in my ear and pushing me forward! .
