Changes in the AR deed process...

Arkansas has been what I consider a hidden gem for deed auctions for quite a while.
In the past you had three different types of Deed properties you could bid on that had varying base prices, and times for the owner to be able to redeem.
That has all changed....If you go to www.cosl.org, you will be presented with a few options.
For online bidding you will want to go through the following steps.
Real Estate >> Post Auction Sales List. From this spot you choose from a drop down list the county that you would like to look at their inventory.
You will have the option of looking at the properties online, through a download of PDF or Spreadsheet.
You will be able to see the amount that is requested when looking online as well as the auction date. Putting in your bid to purchase is as simple as clicking the "request" button on the right hand side.
You can click on the parcel number and will be taken to a screen showing quite a bit of the history of the deed.
As with any investing, run the number and see if the property with it's cost and associated time frames.
The Commissioner of State lands in AR has been working with investors to make this process beneficial for the state as well as investors. It is worth your time to read over the FAQs and see what you can do.
Happy Investing!
