Making Progress

I came away from this past week's live webcast with three overriding thoughts:
1. People of ordinary intelligence can make money investing in real estate.
2. The people who make money are those with passion and dedication to their goals, which they have previously identified.
3. The key to success in real estate investing is to get out there and do it - don't over analyze - just do it!
The most difficult step for me will be locating and synthesizing the relevant information I need to get started. I think I'm on the right track, so now I must just do it.
The presenters on the live webcasts each were articulate and convincing (probably that's why they were chosen!) and outlined ways in which to implement the education provided. In the end, even though I just spent a lot of money on the advanced education, I decided to join IE so that I can get the support of the IE community and ask questions in order to become more involved quickly. As DG says, one pays money for speed.
To close today's entry, let me affirm my belief that I can and will do this successfully. Until tomorrow.
