30 Days to Real Estate Cash: Day One

Hello Everyone! My name is Leah. I opted in on Dean's offer to receive a copy of his newest book and discover the strategies to make money and change the course of my life in the next 30 days. Something has finally clicked within me and I am ready to put in the necessary work so that I can realize the dreams I have for myself.

I made the decision to start my 30 Days to Real Estate Cash on 06Apr13 @ 2242hrs which means that I will have my first deal completed no later than 06May13.

This is the statement I will read everyday about why I have decided to make this happen for myself:

"I'm very interested in real estate. It's like playing Monopoly in real lie. I want to be able to say that I lived without any regrets. Getting into this field and truly experiencing it with a heartfelt effort is an itch that I just have to scratch. I think that becoming a real estate investor will be a lot of fun! That is not to say that it will not come with its challenges and potential setbacks, but I know that if I give it my best effort at all times and persist through it all, there is no way that I will not succeed. I want to get involved with real estate to secure my future and to prove to myself what is possible for my life when I make a decision and commit to it until I get my desired result."

My goal is to make at least $10,000 in the next 30 days.

When this goal is accomplished, I will feel validated in the person I am becoming. I will have proven that I can set out and realize anything that I put my mind to.

I am a little bit behind but, I will have time in the next couple of days to catch up. These first five days are about getting a great real estate agent on my team, determining the best areas to invest in, setting up an email account dedicated to my business, and finally making some appointments to go out and look at some properties.

I have set up my email account, and looked online to locate some Remax and Keller William offices in my area. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about having to make the call and finally let someone other than myself know that I was a "real estate investor". But, having said all of that, I did it anyway. I took the plunge and called the first office on my list and spoke with Chris! He seemed polite but initially when I told him that I was looking to get the names and numbers of agents who worked with investors, he told me he couldn't give me that information. I was a bit shocked and asked him a little indignantly--I'm ashamed to admit--"You can't give me the names and numbers of the agents in your office?" I think he misunderstood my question and we quickly got that misunderstanding resolved. He said there were over 70 agents in the office and he would set me up with someone who he thought would best suit my needs. The agents he picks should be calling my sometime tomorrow.

I am excited! I hope all goes well tomorrow and I can really start getting things underway. I am also seeing, just from my experience with Chris, that I am going to have to be a bit more proactive and just do a search of agents online and send emails to various agents with my little script on what my goals are.

I intend to make good on this goal for myself and will not let anything stop me. I am glad that I have this little personal blog where I can vent, rant, and rave about my daily adventures. Until tomorrow, continue to go for your dream everyone !!
