Husband and Wife Team looking for Mentor or Partner

We have just started Dean's program and know nothing about the real estate world. We are reading his books and have done some of his audio training, but just can't grasp the whole concept. We are looking for someone to show us the ropes with some of the profits just until we get the hang of things.
We are really wanting this to work, we have a large family and are tired of not having money and having to rely on the government which doesn't meet the needs either.
We would like to take our first trip at the end of this month or we will have to cancel and the children would be just as unhappy as we would.
Please help us get free and help others too.
We are located in south Houston.
