Just yesterday I have spoken with an agent who was not familiar with real estate assignments, so I will not be working with her. I told her I wanted to invest in the pre foreclosure market and she basically talked over me through the whole conversation, telling me what I should look for and what I should do. She didn't listen to me at all, she just kept talking about all this stuff. Even though I said "pre foreclosure" she said "people arent going to sell their homes for less if their homes been on the market longer. Usually when that happens those people aren't realistic about their price." Yeah.... she wasn't listening to me. People in pre foreclosure have a deadline, so the greater time the home is on the market the more motivated the seller is to lower their price, so as long as they pay back the institutional lender. I take it, this is how Dean put it. She told me I was being too specific and spoke about foreclosures and shortsales. Even though I told her I wanted to assignments since I don't have any money to outright buy a home. I hope agents are not all like her, she didn't even listen. I be speaking to another agent soon.
