Last deal was a dud, but moving on

My deal in San Antonio didn't go as I wanted. I was unable to find any interested investors to take the home for the offered price. The owner could not lower the price due to still owing a mortgage payment, and the rehab costs were too high. So, I moved on to another out of state deal. The owner was selling it for 39,000. The home was built in 2011 and does not need any repairs. Its ARV is at 72,000. I negotiated 35K and he accepted my offer. He also has a Real Estate Attorney that will get us through closing. I will keep you posted.

I haven't lost my excitement, but I am stressing

I have a property in San Antonio TX that I will soon put under contract. But I have not found any interested buyers from the area that are interested. I am placing advertisements in Craigslist and Postlets. I know there is no giving up. I will have a buyer by next week. I have to!

I'm excited!! I'm moving forward with "The EDGE 2013"

I did it! I could not afford to attend in person, but,I bought The Edge 2013 Replay. As always, I enjoy listening to Dean's voice with his shared words of wisdom, and now I get to hear his whole hour+ of it as many times as I want. This has given me more excitement to continue with my direction forward; without "negativity". Now, I will work hard at focusing on the positive of all things; when I can't, I will find my optimistic friends who will remind to to stay optimistic.

Still looking ahead and taking bigger steps to achieve

My name is Aracely. I am a single mom with a 17 year old son who is soon to graduate high school. As his graduation day is quickly approaching, I am embarrassed to say that I have very little money saved to get him through college. I am also a middle school teacher, so with my supposed high income, my son will not be getting much financial assistance. Others have told me, let him get a loan to school, you have covered your responsibility for him to almost age 18 "adulthood". Although I agree and he does plan to work, I already have school loans I'm still paying. He will have his own stumbles and falls in life, want to always be there to help make his life easier when it is possible. After all, that’s why I am his parent, right?
