Grief can destroy your life

Our youngest son was told he had cancer on April 3, 2011. With in 1 week he want to stage 4 and he died on February 6, 2012 at 11:45 PM. My husband has been disabled since 1982. Jerry has lived in the apartment in our house for 12 years so when I worked days he could be here for John and when he worked nights, I was here. I quit work and took early Social Security to spend as much time with Jerry as I could. He did not want to die in a hospital so hospice helped us care for him at home.
When he died, his wife of 5 years said she could not live in the house where he died. She moved out and left her 2 teenagers here. Jerry was in the process of adopting them when he got to sick.

I see the light

I have been trying so hard to do this the right way so I get ahead fast. I am afraid that I lost sight of the fact that fast does not mean right.
I have been spending 6 to 8 hours a day studying all the tips and hints thinking that I will learn enough that way.
Today I wrote a letter to our son in South Dakota. I was telling him what I want to do and how I need to do it. While I was writing to him, I realized that I did not need to keep studying to do this, just do what I have already learned. If I make a mistake, than I know what not to do next time and have moved a step ahead.

Trying to get ahead

I know that I am not slow in most cases. I think that I am just over thinking or something. I am having a lot of trouble trying to find an agent that knows what I am talking about when I ask about lease options and assignments. I am also having a hard time figuring out how to get estimates for repairs with out an option on the house. I am beyond broke with hardly enough gas to get to the houses I have seen on zillow. If someone will have pity on me and tell me what I am doing wrong, my family and I would be very grateful.

finding a realtor

I am not going to give up, but I am gong to take a couple of hours to do yard work. I have property I am seariously wanting, contractors to tell me what it needs, and buyers that buy this type and in this area. Now in need a realtor to bid for me. I have called about 1/2 of the realtors in the norh east of Kansas and can not seem to find one with any knowledge of lease options and assignments. In fact 4 were no longer in business. Iknow that there have to be some around Kansas City, KS because other people from here were at the training. If anyone can steer me in the right direction without taking anything from yourself I would be very grateful.
Thank you
