This morning, on my way from work (I work the grave yard shift), I noticed an "eye sore" in my neigborhood for the first time because something told me to take a different route! The house looks like a wolf amongst sheep! Obviously it is a very much runned down property in a nice neighborhood. Now with great excitement, I hurried home, checked my local Accessor online to find out who is the owner. I live in Tennessee and found out that the property is owned by Veterans affairs with an address in Jackson, FL. Based on the fact that I have no money and credit, would it be a pain in the neck to deal with the VA?
Thanks.

The seller (VA) may require any potential buyer to be preapproved. If the property is currently on the mkt it will be listed with a real estate agent. Call your agent and ask the agent to check the status of the property. You didn't say what your specific exit strategy is. Are you assigning the contract or considering a buy/sell situation?
