I find all kinds of good deals at my local County Property Appraisers web site under "Forclosures" but ALL of them list an out of state bank with only an address. How do I find their assets manager, it seeems that each property has a different bank in a different state and only lists their address. Do they have a local contact and if so how do you find it?

I usually get the bank info, and do a search on the internet and get the banks website. When i find their site, it usually has a contact us button or a phone #. I call or email the bank and ask to get in touch with the person whom handles REO or foreclosure assets. then go from there and get all the info i can, about the property I'm inquiring about.

Well I think I just wasted a whole day on the computer tracking down these contacts. It seems they all are either Trust companys or Mortage companys, neither of which will comunicate with anyone except banks or brokers. Little things after their company name like Citibank "Trust" or "TR" or C/O Financial LLC. I think all these forclosures are ones that have been sold to other investment trusts by local banks who for some reason don't want to sell them. Any thoughts?
