OfflineI have a property under contract right now. The closing date was 60 days from the date we signed the contract. The house was occupied by tenants when we signed the purchase agreement. The seller agreed that he would evict the tenants within a few weeks. It has been close to 30 days now and the seller and I have agreed to sign an addendum changing the date of closing to 30 days past the date the tenants vacate.
What's the best way to word the addendum?

I would put in something like, Closing date to be 30 after tenants vacate property.
As long as you have the information in the addendum that needs to be communicated the wording is up to you.
Make sure you know when the tenants are out so you can have an actual date to shoot for.
