how do i get out of a contract?

I like this question.

Because first you should already have buyers, So I wish this question was worded differently. It should say read. “What do you do if none of my buyers can take my contract?”

But to still answer the question, you would want to talk to your agent and they have a form you can fill out stating the reason and which contingency clause it is pertaining to.

If you did the contract on your own then you can simply write it out or type it in an email. You should call as well but It is required in writing.

Your realtor will provide contracts on making offers & customize it to what you offering.
Or also there is on this site. to the left and lower on the page a link that says "forms and docs" has agreement to purchase docs and more.
