Getting ready for business :)

Well, I have finished reading 30 days to RE cash.. I've read it 3x to be exact. It has postits sticking out from every angle.. LOL .. Folded pages, notes written through out...

Taking a deep breath in .. I have ordered my business cards, postcards, car magnets & bandit signs. Waiting on the delivery. I have created a website w a personal email address. Even got a google phone #.

I have my markers all ready, I have ink for the printer, I just need postage stamps, I have my list of cash buyers that I will be sending post cards to. I'm still deciding on an agent.

I will start with being a matchmaker/birddogging, then move on to assigments & wholesaling. I feel this is the best way to learn and get comfortable.

I am having an aray of feelings..., anxious, excited, happy, scared, overwhelmed, but over all, I feel great!

I have also decide to vlog on a daily basis. To stay committed, track my progress and watch myself grow.

Way to go Michelle! fyi: An array of emotion is normal. We all had/have them!
Control the emotions, don't let them control you! Feelings are fickle!

My nugget/suggestion would be......think less, do more. Meaning, we can sometimes get stuck or delay over details.

Follow step by step what Dean has layed out. Do not deviate from it. Don't over think it. Just act!!!

Continue to learn, take action! Rinse and repeat until desired out come is reached! lol

Be results oriented, not busy driven.

Don't over complicate it.

Get buyers; make offers!
Buyer + deal = check to you.

I too have all those same feelings. Like Jen said just do it. Ive been thinking too much and not doing.. \

I ahve business cards..I just got my google #, as the number I have is from out of the area...I am going to order my car magnet today...
Im not totally happy with my RE Agent. So I need to work on that..

May I ask what method you used to get your buyers?

I guess everyone experiences the same things, feelings, etc..

I guess bc I too am an agent, I'm kind of tough when choosing one. I know that I am one of a kind, I want someone like me... accurate, reliable, trustworthy ... I will need to make a few more calls to get someone good on my side. I don't like when they pose thay they have good biz but are really not too busy. This will be something that I have to tweek Smiling

Are you asking me about my cash buyers list? I had a friend send me from the mls.

Here is a nugget that I came up with...>>> DG says that we should get the list of cash deals from the agents right, to locate those buyers.. and Matt suggests going w remax or keller williams bc they were created by investors... but, I found that was a dead end, maybe just in my area.. but my strategy on that is.>>> get the list of recently solds w cash buyers.. and instead of chasing your tail around to find the right agent>>>> DRUM ROLL>>> LOL... Just look at the sold listings of the AGENTS that sold to those cash buyers Smiling ... If they are doing more than one deal.. then it is possible that they work with investors in the first place Smiling

Great post...I love where you are starting. I just recently started reading my book.

Just reading your post I got a flood of emotions but, I like you know this is my time and I want to go for it. I prayer hard before reading this book because I wanted to put all my old thoughts away and everything I think I know away to just walk through this book and do everything Dean says do.

Hi Michelle,

It is great to hear that you are making so many great strides to get the whole process started. My wife and I are new to REI and find ourselves intimidated, but also very excited and ready to take action to get this started. We also feel like this is where we belong and we also know that this is how we will have an abundant life Smiling. I just had one question for you though i was wondering how you go about getting the listing agents? We have yet to find an agent and aren't sure how it works, do they come with the list of cash buyers when you ask the agent for the recent houses being purchased with cash? Like i said we are very new so im not to sure what everything means yet we just need to keep reading and take everything in. Any advice would be great.

I am just now getting into Day 1-5 Phase 1, I have given myself 60 days to take it step by step. My plan is to work as I read.

I do have a question though I am looking for the video 1 that Dean mention that has him and Mathew on it. Can you lead me in the direction for that video?

I would love to continue to connect with you along this path maybe we can use skype and the site to work together and hold each other accountable....
