Many people will ask if they can transfer a property to a business name. Yes they can. The easiest and most common way to do this is to use a quit claim deed. Dean has a copy of one of these in the Forms to the right. Most people that transfer properties do not understand that if they put the loan in their own personal name then use the quit claim deed the property may be in the business name but the loan is still in the persons name. The quit claim deed is easily done at the recorders office.
