I have had the pleasure to help so many people change their life with real estate. The first thing that they say to me is" I don't have time to do this" or " I can't find the time to do this. The truth is that time is not something that you "have" or "find" it's something that you "create".
Let's face it our lives are so full of busyness, some productive and some nonproductive. We are so busy with work, family and stuff that we will NEVER "find" the time to fit anything else in our busy schedule no matter how hard we try. We surly don't "have" the time since our current schedule takes up %110 of our life. So what are we to do if we can't find the time to have the time?
CREATE the time! Time for success must be created if you are going to ever accomplish it. You must take you busy schedule, evaluate it and see where your time is being spent every day. How much of that time is productive and how much is unproductive? Besides your work/ job schedule what do you spend the rest of your time doing? Now separate your family time (child's homework, dinner etc...).
I am sure that you can now find at least 1 hour a day that you can dedicate to your success in real estate. You can 'create" 1 hour a day for education, build your buyers list etc... Now look deeper and I am sure that you can find 2 hours a day either together or separate to build your success.
You will be surprised how much time you can create if you take a good look at the time your spending on things that are really not being productive in your goal of success.
How much time do you spend on the computer, facebook etc....?
How much time do you spend watching TV?
How much time do you spend....
You get the point
YOU MUST CREATE TIME TO BE SUCCESSFUL! You will NEVER find it or have it.
Good luck!
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Carol,
you are so right; if we want to make it in rei, we have to be motivated to create the time to get educated and to take action! It's all about how badly we want to succeed... badly enough to make sacrifices today?

I love my parents and I had a great childhood. Sometimes I think it might have been too easy. My parents didn’t have much money but I always had what I needed and a lot of times things that I wanted also. However, I feel like my parents, who are very intelligent people, missed hitting their potential because of the television. I grew up in a home where my dad would go to work and come home and watch TV for the rest of the night. Therefore, this is what I was programmed to do. This programming is something I have always had to fight. I don’t want to be a paycheck to paycheck person. I want to make a more fruitful person than this. With all of this said, I have had to reprogram myself to get out there and get things done. As one of my mentors says, “You need to get out of the cave and kill something and drag it home.”
Therefore, MAKE the time to change things and, in my opinion, real estate is one of the best ways to do it.
