OfflineHi I'm new to the forms but have been looking into doing real estate for some time now. But I have bad credit and can't get any loans. On top of that I don't make enough money to self finance.
I have looked into finding someone to finance me and I'd do the leg work. But I am worried about scams and of course so are other people so I have been unsuccessful in finding me an investor. My other problem is I'm young so people are worried about experience.
So i guess my question is really is there away to get started in real estate without money or credit. I have read deans books and it talked about it but I have problems understanding some of it. and also my age comes into play with trying to get people to trust me to do leg work for them. I have tried finding short sales but had a lot of troubles finding any. I know I can be a RE investor if I was able to find a way around my credit and financing problems to start me off. If any1 can assist me in finding away around my problem maybe someone who has had to start with bad credit and no money or someone who has done deals that way.
I'm not sure how old you are, but if you have the determination, you will find a way to make things happen. Re-read Dean's instructions on doing deals with no money down. Read it until you understand it and the parts you don't understand, someone in the DG family will be able to clarify it for you if you just ask. Also you can read the forum "My Deals" and you will read how others have made money with no credit, bad credit, and no money down. Dean also has lots of examples in his books. Anyone on these forums would be able to help you out, and most everyone is very accomodating. I hoped this helped some...good luck
