Property Prices Leveling Out
The double-digit home price increases over the past couple of years are substantially over in most markets. Expectations for 2014 are increases of 3% to 5%, and this is predicted to be the norm for years, possibly even until 2021.

Mortgage Rates Having Little Effect on Demand
Mortgage rate increases aren’t having a major effect on regular buyer demand, as they just aren’t in the market right now. However, there has been an increase in ARMs being used by the buyers out there who are able to qualify and want the most house for the money.

December Sales Down Sharply
In December 2013, nationwide home sales dropped by 7 percent. The biggest influencer is the drop in inventory, including fewer foreclosures available. However, the foreclosure pipeline is far from dried up.

I Am Very "Nervous" About Closing On Another Deal...

Dean I am looking at your new video, and I must confess I am "terrified" about doing another deal. My first deal was not a very good experience. The partner that I had cheated me out of $1500 right at the closing table and he was able to do that because I was a "newbie". I have not done another deal since. I only received a little over $1500. He received over $3,000. This happened back in 2011. Another thing that holds me back is NOT being able to work with realtors like "Matt" suggests in your newest book. I cannot work with realtors since I do not have "Earnest Money". I cannot afford your "mentoring" programs at this time. "Motivated Sellers" are my "only" option at this time. I am a bit nervous about that too. But at least I do not have to come up with a large sum for "Earnest Money". I need to do something really quick. We are in a "financial" bind at this time. My husband's engine in his 18 wheeler that he owned "went out" back in "November". He has been off work every since. He just started back working and he is driving another guys truck. I would really love to be able to help him buy another truck. "Fear" of failing is my biggest problem. He told me just the other day that he does not understand "why" I have not made money yet as much as he has invested in my real estate investing courses. I feel really bad when he says that and embarrassed. I cannot afford "mentoring" but I really need some help. Hopefully, someone will read this and will offer to help me.
