OfflineBuilding a strong foundation for the future... Today (4/25/2009) I ordered Dean's books, "Profit from Real Estate Right Now" and "Be a Real Estate Millionaire." I'm really looking forward to diving right into the materials as soon as I receive them.
I also inquired about Dean's Real Estate Success Academy and I'm very eager to receive their call to gain more information on the program. From what I've read, I believe participating in the Academy will help propel me a lot quicker to becoming a successful full-time REI.
I spent yesterday evening and most of my day today doing research on Dean's programs and they seem to be real REI resources & tools I can use and begin to immediately apply. It is also important to me to be able to have access to a mentor who will initially guide me in my new venture as well as have a community of knowledgeable REIs to help me...and I've read that Dean has made that possible as well.
I'm looking forward to becoming very knowledgeable & successful in REIing...not only to help myself, but to help others as well.
In the meantime...Step 1: work on a business plan
Btw, I'm very open to ideas and suggestions.
I spoke with an interviewer today regarding the success team program and he gave me action items to complete...some of them (goals, visite website) I had already worked on. I'm looking forward to speaking with the interviewer again and getting set up to speak with an advisor who will talk more in detail about the program.
