Buying and renting the DG way

Buying and renting the DG way

Hi All.
I just finished college and also finished reading Dean's book.

My goal is to buy 1 or 2 homes and then rent them out.
However, I only found techniques mainly for assigning and selling equity.

What are the techniques used to buy a property and then keep it and rent it for the long term?
Thanks for any help!

Hey there Fortran, well I'm

Hey there Fortran, well I'm fairly new myself seeing as how i'm only half way through the new book; but as far as i can tell it's not that different from assigning. You basically don't look for the 3rd party. So you would go about the strategy to find the property at a great rate and then do the deal as you would when assigning and just keep it and do with it as you wish. It will be legally yours so you can go ahead and finance it for the deal that you made, or rent it if you'd like...However, seeing as how I'm only half way through the book I could be wrong or missing something, but that is my understanding of it so far.
