OfflineWe are having a really hard time getting any sleep down here after returning from Edge 2011, and it has nothing to do with jet lag!
We connected with so many amazing people in Scottsdale last weekend, and the energy and genuine compassion in that group of people and in the whole DG family continues to blow us away!
Since returning to Florida, we have ordered our bandit signs, obtained an untraceable phone number for the signs, added about 20 BUYERS (!!!!) to our buyers' list so far, hooked up with a couple of DG superstars to bring some high profile commercial buyers and sellers together for possible finder's fees, found a title company who isn't telling us that assignment of contract/double close is illegal in Florida, etc., etc., etc.
We would be happy to give back by helping anyone in our area who is new or who hasn't been able to make their first deal happen yet. Here's the best advice we can give anyone in the DG family: if you haven't attended an Edge event, do whatever it takes to buy tickets for next year, and if you haven't looked into the Success Academy and are having trouble getting your first deal done, call them now!

this is for sleepless in st petersburg florida i used to live in st petersburg, now in largo, i have not had a deal, have been putting signs out but they keep disapearing. have found some wholesalers but not the buyers for their homes, i have not found any sellers yet to get a contract with , i do get discouarged and stop for a while but am trying to get back in again, if you have any suggestions would love to hear from you, i would love to gotoedge meeting but i cannot afford to go, i just keep reading Deans books and always watch his blogs which helps me to get motivated Rose
Hi Rose! First, please don't get discouraged. You haven't missed the boat, so start today with your forward progress. How are you advertising for buyers? Are you part of the Success Academy? I got 20 new potential buyers in the last 2 weeks just by going to 2 local networking meetings and telling everyone that we are investors who can help people with no credit or bad credit own a home again. Seems like everyone there had someone in that situation. There are free networking groups all over the place, and while every one has at least one realtor, I've never heard anyone else say "I'm an investor and here is how I can help you".

It was great, and the best part of the event was that everyone was there willing to help everyone else. For anyone who didn't make it to Edge, the same support is here on this website every day. That's something we can all thank Dean for, because most business environments are not coming from a giving mindset!
