Blogging

Do you want free traffic to your website? Do you want investors, home owners, Realtors, etc to call you? Do you want this for free?

Try blogging. This a free service provided by many websites that allows you to post content, reviews, and your opinions about whatever topic you choose! We are all in the market for Real Estate, so our logical blog would be about stuff like "investing techniques," "mortgage interest rates," "foreclosure," "Dean Graziosi," and so on and so forth.

When you blog, you get the opporunity to share your thoughts and insights about Real Estate. How cool is that? It's pretty much the same as we are doing here. So what's the benefit of starting other blogs? The answer is EXPOSURE!

Do you have a website? What kind of content is on it? Let's say you use one of Dean's AFF websites. These websites educate our visitors about the foreclosure process and how to prevent it. Mine has a title of "Minneapolis/St. Paul Properties." www.max.buyforeclosing.com. So, when I blog, I add keywords and tags that reflect my website. Keywords like "Minneapolis Foreclosure" or "Avoid Foreclosure Minneapolis." Of course, I add a link to my website somewhere in the blog. This process works for your ads on craigslist or the local newspaper. Just add the link or tell your reader where to find you. A blog is not an advertisement and you shouldn't write it like one. Make the blog educational and exciting! People will want to see more of what you have to offer, so you just make sure you give them the means to do so.

Why are keywords important? Google is a search engine that goes out on the internet and looks for these keywords. The more content you have on the internet, the better the chance that Google will find and list your content when somebody is looking for what you have to offer.

Update your content frequently! When you update your content, other blog users and other blog websites are "pinged." Blogs actually communicate with each other in this way. Obviously, the more your blogs "ping," the more visitors you will have.

Here are some places to start: Google; Technorati; Amazon.com; Squidoo; Hub Pages; Zwickie; Google Base; Google Profile; You Tube.

More to come......

Ping

Good question! I'm not sure if this site pings or not. I would definately talk about this site in your other blogs, though.

I have a question for you, randdee. How did you get the "deal maker" recognition?

I haven't heard it mentioned here in Dean's forums but I came across a classified ad website similar to craigs list and could possibly be better.
