Think Like a Winner

I am sure that you have met people who play at casinos or play the lottery and constantly utter: "I never win anything, I always lose". If we look at some of the basic precepts of attracting abundance, we know that this type of thinking is faulty.

Winning isn't only about winning at casinos or winning lotteries. Winning happens in all parts of our lives. From relationships, to health, to employment and money--we attract abundance in all of these areas. I use the image of winning a jackpot because this is something that we can visualize relatively easily. Even if playing in casinos is not your thing--I mention it for illustrative purposes.

In order to be open to abundance, we need to be thankful. Negative thinking like the affirmation stated above will not move us towards abundance, it will move us away from it. By thinking negatively we convince ourselves that we are not worthy of prosperity. If we utter things, or think things like "I never get this, or I never get that", we manifest this all the way to the cellular level. This is problematic. As we utter it and think it, so it becomes.

Think about that for a second: As we utter it and think it, so it becomes. You need to realize that this works in the reverse too. That means that if we can turn the compass around we will see real, tangible changes. A good litmus test in your life is to see how much abundance comes into your life daily. Do you find yourself in a posture of gratitude receptive to the gifts you receive in your life? Do you recognize the gifts when they come? Do you seek only the "big ticket" items or are you able to be thankful for the smaller gifts in your life?

Abundance is more than money, and money is a part of abundance. Money is a great manifestation of abundance but it is not the only manifestation. In order to be a winner, we need to think like a winner, foster positive thoughts and recognize abundance when it enters our lives.
