OfflineI've read several posts where there are some people who feel that they want to quit. Well for one thing, Real Estate is a tough business. We run into tons of "know it all" Realtors who think because you're a newbie that you have no business trying to invest. Then you get friends and well meaning family members who beat you down and make you feel like giving up.
Well here's what I want you all do to if you feel that way. Go to Amazon.com and get the book called "Three Feet from Gold" by Greg Olsen. That book is filled with with the Author's own ups and downs and how he felt like giving up on his own quest for success. The quotes from other business leaders and the struggles they went through will inspire you. That book has inspired me and kept me on the right track when I felt like throwing in the towel. I urge you all to read it, you wont regret it.

I can't and I won't.....and I'll check out that book even though I guess I've been rather blessed by a lack of naysayers.I feel I've progressed so slowly cuz it's been a year now and I still have not accomplished my first deal as of yet.I did however use "Deans" techniques to guide me while I made "my" first home purchase last fall,and earned about 15k in equity on my purchase and grabbed the 8k federal money to boot:-).We're lov'in our new house and I'm still plug'in away and just finished "Your Town", Deans 4th book.I'm on my way, just a lil slower than some, but I'll get there. Thanx for your tip and now, "Lets all go make some deals". Mov'in forward....keep on keep'in on!

The book "Three Feet from Gold" is by Greg S. Reid. Olsen is another Author who wrote "The Slight Edge" which is another awesome book about taking daily actions if you want to succeed.

I'm in the same boat you are. But right now I have 2 offers I'm working on, I'm submitting one more today and I have 3 FSBO properties I'm researching to make offers on. Its been slow for me too but I've turned a corner and I'm right there, I feel it. Keep it up, you'll get there too and if you need some help send me a message and we'll talk.
