OfflineWell, this deal was not the deal of the century or a huge deal in the least bit. BUT, it is a way to make money in real estate!
Someone I know required a referral for a good loan person for a traditional loan. I recommended someone I have personally worked with and was paid $250 when they closed. I did nothing else but give a number of someone I already used to somebody else.
While this isn't the largest deal, it sure was easy. The best part, I didn't even know I was going to get paid for it until the end. People appreciate referrals!
It is CERTAIN we will SUCCEED!

Just had a thought, what if we were starting out and somebody referred us to an investor-friendly agent that knew about wholesaling and other strategies. How much would that be worth? Especially in time saved trying to find the right one.
You definitely deserve that money. Who knows how much time you just saved that person in finding the right loan officer, not to mention that the deal might have been in a tight time-frame.

When people first start out, often they are afraid to give away referrals or information because they don't want other people to discover their "sources". But the reality is that goes back to your scarcity thinking. Joe was that was in the beginning and I still struggle with that sometimes too (retraining old behavior has to be a constant, conscious effort--not changing is easy!) but now, he is always sharing his resources and people remember that. He rarely gets monetarily compensated for it, but when a new deal rolls around, he is generally the first person people in this area call. And when someone shares a lead with us, they get thanked with a very generous $reward$!
Keep it up, Tammy. You'll continue to invite more abundance into your life by doing this.
