Francisco, first off, what's your strategy? Wholesale/buy, fix & flip/buy & hold?That would determine what you need to do.
Next, you also need to know the ARV of the property (don't know what $295k refers to). The budget for repairs will depend on your exit strategy, and the condition of the property.

Yes, Definitely Walk Through with a Contractor. It could be simple repairs, some carpet and paint, or it could need some serious repairs. You'll definitely need solid numbers to present to your investors.
