5 Bedroom 2 Bathroom House Must Sell For Cash $295,000

I am in the process of closing on a property in the Bronx, NY. It is a 5/2 house. It needs repairs.It located in a nice neighborhood, close to schools and public transportation.

What do you mean by 'process of closing on a property'? Are you contracting, buying etc?

I would like to know the ideal budget for repairs.

What's your strategy?

Francisco, first off, what's your strategy? Wholesale/buy, fix & flip/buy & hold?That would determine what you need to do.

Next, you also need to know the ARV of the property (don't know what $295k refers to). The budget for repairs will depend on your exit strategy, and the condition of the property.

Are you buying to hold

or trying to wholesale? The cost will also depend on what needs to be done and the cost of materials and labor in your area. Not sure what you are doing???

Yes, Definitely Walk Through with a Contractor. It could be simple repairs, some carpet and paint, or it could need some serious repairs. You'll definitely need solid numbers to present to your investors.
