County Held Certificates available in FL

County Held Certificates available in FL

For those that want to buy Tax Liens with out the auction process, in Florida when the Lien does not sell it will move to the County Held Certificates list. Some counties host these on their own website, great way to get to those is www.netronline.com.
For others you can go through www.grantstreet.com click on financial auctions, then down to Tax Liens. The first counties listed will have direct links to the county held certificates.
Here is why they are so great. On the Florida website in regards to the tax liens here are some of the specifics that we need to pay attention to.
-redemption period begins on the date of delinquency
-2 year redemption period with a 7 year life of the tax lien.
-County Held certificates have the full 18% interest

If you buy a lien that is over 2 years old, the redemption period has the potential of being done.
CAUTION- Always check with the county on what the policy is with filling for your notice of a tax deed application.
See what is available for purchase and what the opportunities might include.

It can be great to look through....

Some of the counties have the lists on their own website. In Florida ask for the county held certificates. In other states it can be called different names, the key is to ask what happens to the liens if they do not sell at the auction.
You can also look for the "lands available" list. These are the deeds in Florida that did not sell at the auction.
Good luck and happy investing!

Love working with Liens

Another place to go look for left-over liens will be http://www.realauction.com/county-tax-lien/ you'll be able to find liens from Arizona, Florida, Illinois and Nebraska.

Some of the areas will give you the option to buy your liens on-line but the ones that don't you can just call the county and see if they can e-mail you their left-over lists, most places will or you can just go to their site and down load them there, and find the liens you want, and call the county, tell them which liens you want, and you can send them a cashiers check.
