OfflineI live in the great state of Georgia and the thought of tax deeds really has sparked my interest.I have an IRA that just ain't makin me no money at all. All of you know what crappy interest the banks are paying.
I'm interested in self-directing my IRA and using it for tax deed sales.My question is, is there any courses or any other information that can give me a good understanding of how this works? I'm new here but respect all of your opinions as your have been there and done that. And what better way to gain an edge than to learn from experience.

There are some good books and course on tax sales. Plus, there is some great content about them online. Yet, the specifics will vary from state to state--and sometimes from county to county too. For example, Ohio is traditionally a deed state; however, tax liens are also sold for properties in some of the counties with larger populations.

In the search box type self directed ira HIT ENTER do not fool with the little magnifying glass it doesn't work. Also I've heard of a company by the name of equity trust for a lot of years. www.trustetc.com I know nothing of them and have no connection whatsoever to them. Looks like a great site though.
