How to determine if judgments or liens are on a property

hello

I am asking the experienced forum users to state how i can obtain judgment and lien info on a given property without having to go down to the courthouse or pay some fortune online?

Judgements and Liens

There isn't any good way to be sure you have all the liens unless you go to the courthouse. There may be a few counties that have current court records on-line. (try www.netronline.com) You don't need to spend a lot of time or money on searching for liens and judgements on properties you are considering. Write an offer contract that states the seller is going to give you title free and clear of any and all liens. Only after the offer gets accepted would you pay to get title work started. If there are liens that can't be resolved, you have a reason to walk away from the deal. The title insurance protects you from buying a property with any clouds on the title and is well worth what it costs. Title searches are something you should delegate to your power team.
