Started rowing three years ago. Enjoy both sweep or sculling but really like the team aspect and usually only row in doubles, quads, or eights. Our Master's women team have already won races in competition. Pretty good for women who have never rowed before.
Love animals, have two dogs, six cats, and chickens. Recently had to put down my horse. I volunteer at a Horse Rescue in Ojai.
Volunteer as Community Emergency Response coordinator for our town of Oak View. If we are lucky, we may be somewhat prepared for any big emergency (earthquake). Became a HAM radio operator so we will be able to communicate. Plan to take test to upgrade so I can talk to others around the world.
