Hello readers. My name is Amir Stoudamire. I am a 20 year old student in the Dean Graziosi family who is looking to secure my financial future while I am young with plenty of time on my plate.
Short Recent History:
I was born in 1993 in a working class family. In the past, I was not considered as one of the haves, but I did live comfortably with my parents. Then the economy crashed. My parents found it harder and harder to maintain our lifestyles as the economy declined even more throughout the years. The bills started getting higher and the wages got lower. Now we are at a point where we have to worry about overspending too much on groceries for the house. About a year ago, I decided that enough is enough and that we must find a way to leave the rat race and create a better future for the family. At first I felt the best way to achieve this goal was to attend an expensive private college and get a degree to obtain a good paying job. I was pursuing this path for a year and then I was introduced to something along my path. My mother showed me a book titled "Rich Dad Poor Dad." With an open mind, I decided to read through the book. After finishing, I felt as if my mind went through some sort or metamorphosis. I then learned that in order to achieve true financial success, I must do it by taking the path not commonly taken. I must become my own boss and not work for a boss. At first I believed the same advice that the poor stood by in regard to "going to school, getting a job, working your way up the ladder, and getting a standard retirement plan." I realized that if I want to become successful, I must listen to those who have achieved success and others who are striving for it through similar means that the rich use. Later on I stumbled across an infomercial of Dean Graziosi, and now I am here benefitting from his knowledge and learning from students following him. I am looking forward to working with people here to help each other grow and succeed.
Personality:
I am told by many people that I am a calm, cool, and collected person (or the three Cs to put it another way). I am very optimistic while not letting small things bother me. When it comes to listening, I am a very good receiver. Just like the saying goes: God gave you two ears and one mouth.
