For the past year my husband and I have taken advantage of buying foreclosed houses at bargain prices. We have purchased 6 single family houses and 1 duplex. All were bought with cash. All are currently rented with positive cash flow. Tenants are paying and with the exception of minor calls from them, all is well. We had so much fun buying and fixing up, then finding the right tenant.. Now we look forward to the 1 st of the month for the chec ks to come in. Sad thing is that we really miss the hustle and bustle of being the first to Putin a bid for a forclosures and having our offer accepted. We miss going to Home Depot and Lowes for fix up supplies. We have put up all the cash that we have allowed for real estate purchase and we also can see prices going up in our area. Not sure how long the really good deals will be around.
Anyone out the in the same fix? Where do we go from here? Is there an other way to stay in the game without cash?
