OfflineI started down this road 12 years ago knowing nothing about RE investing. I bought Carlton Sheets course and read all the books I could find on rehabbing. I bought a home in Longmont CO for $113k put 25k into and sold it for 180k making about 38k. Not bad right! I was pretty excited and bought a house around the corner but paid to much and after rehab costs could not sell it for a profit. I still have it as a rental and it has a decent cash flow now.
Because of that deal I was a little gun shy and was afraid to do another. So I got my RE license and chased buyers and listings and did ok but never really liked it much.
But now thanks to my new business partner we are in Dean's Diamond training and have done Boots on the Ground and we are headed to the Buyers Summit next week! I'm super excited to finally be headed in the right direction! We have started writing offers, just sent two out this evening. It helps when you are your own investor friendly Broker : )
