Today was a great example of taking advantage of time that could have been wasted. Had to take girlfriend to "The Mall" in Lakeland today to meet up with her employment counselor. The place is an hour away from my house. She needed to be there about 2 hours before the meeting which left me "stranded" at the mall ( my least favorite place) with nothing to do. WRONG!!!! Last night I made a list of people to call and spent most of that time in my "mobile office" (a.k.a. my car) and on the phone. Caught up with my FL partner and we just commiserated about the lack of deals in our areas. Caught up with my CO partner and got new leads to follow up. Spoke with my other connection about other leads for props in new areas. Spoke with another investor in N. FL about possible deals for MM. Spoke with another investor (who called me) about possible deals in LV. I had the most productive 3 REI related hours in a long time. That's not to say that I waste my other RE times. I just mean that I can SEE that these calls can all bring in some needed cashflow whereas my other time is just preparing me for these calls. They all are necessary but....
So it's off to checking out some other leads out west then sleep.
Till next time...
