Today was almost a worthless day with having to take my Gfriend to Lakeland (about 50 miles away) for her class on "How to get a job." Since we don't have any of the major stores in my little town that this big city does, I had to take advantage of being there and do a little shopping. In doing that, I was able to cruise some neighborhoods checking for possible leeds so at least I felt like I was doing something RE related.
In a rare twist of events, we went over to one of Gfriend's classmate's house after their class was over. I discussed with her my venture into Real Estate and she told me about 2 houses in her neighborhood that might be good investments. She had actually sold one of the houses to the current owner about 6 years ago. I went to look at them but because of the hour, I wasn't able to get a good look inside from any of the windows. From the outsides, they both looked like they qualified for an "Ugly House." Will investigate more and report my findings.
Upon arriving home and getting online, I got a PM from a fellow DGer with a list of properties that might fit my buyer's want list. Will check these out tomorrow as well. Also got my first list of cash sales requested from the Agents from day 1. Will use Google Earth and pin them- also tomorrow.
I guess after that I can move on to Page 2 of the Fast Cash plan.
