Day 41

Today was a so-so day. I HAD to stop working RE and make some lures to pay my bills so little got done (or so I thought!)

What I did do:
Read emails and answered PMs. (I actually got some today Smiling )
I read and posted to a few journals.
I read more of Deans new book and checked out some of the links suggested in the book.
I went to and printed out my POF letter to give to the new agent.
Attended a webinar before tonight's mentoring call then listened to the mentoring call.
Downloaded the call for future use.
Read some more journals and posted some more responses.
Placed Classified ad looking for buyers on DG.com

Posted my dailies.

Just a thought:
I can see now that each mentor really has a different way of conducting business and it's almost to the point of being too confusing. I've listened to each mentor every night and kept detailed notes on their version of investing. My question is, is Carol's method of wholesaling better than Matt's? They've both been successful. One uses an agent, one doesn't. (I've spent so much time looking for an agent. Was it wasted time or time well spent?) I checked out Greg's pricing for rehab at my local Lowes and found his pricing to be a little higher on some items. Should I use his numbers or the stores? I'm thinking his numbers because it's just a budget and it's better to overestimate then underestimate. However, if I overestimate to high, I could kill a deal. I live in the middle of Freakin nowhere so Joe's suggestion of driving for dollars is just way too expensive for me to do again. I've finally paid off last year's gas expenditures from doing this in Lakeland. To boot, my buyers seem to want properties in areas I've never been to. Do I spend my day driving to these locations and just wait around to see if they are in deed good neighborhoods? After my discussion with the realtor, I get the feeling that if I'm right about the area, that's great. If I'm wrong, I'm shot!!!! (Last time I looked, I found that I'm not bulletproof!!!)
What do I do? Where to I go? How do I proceed?
As I've suggested to other members here, I ask myself if this is what I really want to do? The answer is still YES!!! So: Put up with the crap, Smile like a jackass if necessary, make decisions! and most of all QUIT BIT--IN about it! Bring back that ol' Sager charm and go find some properties and buyers!
