Setting up Phone Numbers per Ad you put up

So, I tried using Google Voice to setup phone numbers for each one of my marketing leads, such as business cards, website, etc. but come to find out it's not as easy as I thought because apparently Verizon, my phone provider, does not support making my own Google Voicemail through them, so my question is,

Has anyone been able to use Verizon to setup Google Voice on their phone? If so, what options did you choose?

Also, since this isn't working for me, is there other ways or companies that provide free to little cost to setup up multiple phone numbers and all them be tracked under your one number or something like that?
