Bandit Signs & Hired Help

I found that being time poor really doesn't help when it comes to marketing. However, more marketing means more leads. I always look for new ways to market and for ways to streamline existing marketing.

Enter my newest employee Alex. I put an ad on CL asking for some one to post signs. Alex was one of a few people who replied. I hired him. He's a sharp guy with an awesome car and house. He also has experience marketing real estate. Yet for some odd reason he decided to work for me on the side.

I pay him $1 per sign to put them up and $250 for every deal that pops. We put 60 signs out last weekend and I'll have 120 going out this weekend. Between CraigsList and those 60 signs I am taking about 3-5 calls a day. I can't wait to start putting out 100 or more every weekend. he even offered to do some cost per lead analysis for us and to track what results are yielded in particular areas.

The goal is to close 3-5 deals a month. With marketing my leads come to me! That tells me my potential seller is motivated. The context of the conversation changes immediately. I have a higher probability of lcoking up a contract as well because I'm not cold-calling for rent or fsbo ads.

Own Your Situation,
Ben
