Homesnap is a new app available on the iPhone and iPad and coming soon to Android. What you do with the app is take a picture of any home and get information immediately for over 90 million homes in the U.S.
The app lets you access MLS listings, rough value ranges, and public records data simply by taking a picture on your smartphone.
If Homesnap can't immediately identify which home you are targeting, the app will display a map of nearby properties, prompting you to select which home you wish to research.
The Homesnap app summarizes the home’s history and value while providing a comprehensive array of details including:
- Square Footage
- Lot Size
- Number of Bedrooms
- Number of Bathrooms
- Year Built
- Estimated Taxes
- Exterior & Roof Details
- Heating System
- Estimated Home Value
- Local Schools
- Maps of the Surrounding Area
In addition, as long as you keep the property on your phone the information about the property will be automatically updated- whether a house listed for sale has sold or a property previously not for sale comes on the market etc.
Keep in mind that data should be verified however if you are in the field standing in front of a property and need some info fast this app will provide you with some much needed info in a snap so you can decide whether to proceed or not.
The Homesnap app is available for free to download at homesnap.com
