Joined IE yesterday, ready to take it to the next level!
2014 is off to a great start.
Finally found some good agents in our new area. I have a feeling they will be here for the long haul. Looking forward to Monday. I know, weird how many people say that?

Good luck in the new year everyone!

Lest We Forget- Remembering our veterans both past and present

I just wanted to take a few moments to thank all the veterans for their service to our country and to take a moment to pay my respects to my grandfather who was a veteran of WWII. He was also detained as a Japanese P.O.W.

I went to live with my grandparents when I was 13 and so have an extra special bond with my grandparents and while I miss him terribly I am immensely grateful for all the time I did get to spend with him.

My grandfather taught me about loving and caring for one another. He was the first to help out a stranger and I can't tell you how many were brought to our home for a meal and a hot bath.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks still bravely singing fly

It's All In Your Head

I just started reading Brian Tracy's "Maximum Achievement" and in Chapter 2 is something I would like to share with you all. This is particularly useful if like Dean says you have limiting beliefs. This really illustrates how our beliefs can help or hinder us.

Quote:

"One day, I read a true story about a young man from a small town who graduated from high school with straight A's. He then applied to the state university for admission.

As part of the admissions procedure, he had to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test, like all the applicants to universities nationwide.

A few weeks later, he received a letter from the admissions department informing him that he had scored in the 99th percentile on the test and he was accepted for the fall semester.

So many choices what do I do?

So many people I know have asked me the same question,
"I have so many interests and desires, how do I get them all?"

Even for myself, I sometimes feel overwhelmed by all the possibilities.

Recently, I came across something that helped me with this that I wanted to share it in case any of you are feeling the same way.

Well, that's where the cheetah can give us the answer...

I am sure you have seen in nature documentaries how
cheetahs find food for themselves and their little cubs, and
so survive the harsh conditions in Africa.

Next time you watch a cheetah hunt, pay close attention...

The cheetah comes across a huge herd of gazelles, maybe
hundreds, or thousands...

That's a lot of opportunities... a lot of possibilities for the
Cheetah, isn't it?
