in June of 2009 I saw Dean on TV and he seemed different than any other "Guru" on TV. I don't know what it was about him but I took a chance and ordered his books. I began to read and read and read. I then read some more. I became a big reader of everything real estate. Unfortunately I was just reading and not doing much else. about a year later the Success Academy came a calling and I thought I was ready, I joined and hauled off and did nothing. I was going through some tough health challenges but that is no excuse, and I knew it. Another eight months goes by, again, I acted on absolutely nothing. Then one weekend, when my parents were visiting I began to share with my father what I was "attempting" to do in real estate. Upon that discussion I ordered Dean's books for my father and encouraged him to read them. He did and we began plotting and planning to work together as a team to build a future for our family through real estate. We formed our organization in early 2011 while beginning to look for properties. Kinda went at the process backward and we realized we still had a lot to learn. Fast forward to June 2011. My father received an invite to Dean's Insider's Edge workshop, we took advantage of the opportunity to learn and grow through the Insider's Edge and we are looking forward to attending our first Buying Summit in July. Thank you Dean and EVERY MEMBER of his team and the ENTIRE DG Family. I am now stumbling through the learning curve and taking action!!! We are currently working on our first deal and looking for many, many more. It's taken me 2 years to get "over the hump" but with the help and support of my family and the DG family, I am now active each and everyday in MY Real Estate Business. For those of you who are afraid or have doubts, PLEASE stay diligent to the task, stay diligent to your dreams and goals. NEVER GIVE UP!! Your time will come and it will come sooner than later. Keep working and learning, always ask questions, no matter how silly they may seem, if you don't ask, you won't learn.
