The last couple of days have been interesting. At the time I felt as though I was somewhat stagnant, but in hindsight they were effective. Up until two days ago I was actively and tangibly making advances on this journey. I haven't been in touch with any of my REAs for 2 days as I have felt a little clueless on how to make an offer and lock up a deal without being liable if I don't sell. The other challenge is that I was told that I would need to open an escrow account and place a minimum of $1000 in to complete the offer. I lost my hold at that point. Where can I get $1000 to do this? Could I lose it if something didn't work out?
I felt as though I was possibly running before walking and decided to slow down until I learnt more and got further into the 30 day course.
I feel as though the houses I viewed could be great deals.
I also felt that I may have missed a step somewhere. Now, I am hoping that I haven't lost momentum.
I watched Dean's webcast earlier, which was great. I hadn't lost faith in myself but was trying not to sign anything without proper knowledge or RE guidance. I have just read the new chapter for Day 16 to 21 and I feel as though I am still heading in the right direction. I will contact expired listing homeowners snd past craigslist home sellers to see if I can help them sell to a buyer. I just need more clarification on how to assign with no risk to myself. I would imagine that information is to come in subsequent chapters. Onwards...
