If you want a ballpark then go to zillow and click on the link that is below the pics of homes values to find comps, then you will have to take the square footage of your home in question and look for the upper and lower limit to get the comps.
Example. Say your home is 1800 sq ft. First find your upper and lower limits about within 15% so,
1800x 1.15 is upper limit = 2070
1800X .85 is lower limit = 1530 So now you will look at the list of homes and use the ones within the same area that are 1530 up to 2070 sq ft. Next you have say 10 homes that fit that range. Then you take that number and divide by the 10 numbers you put in and you will have an Average comp.
Other sites to compare are totalview, Great site, and that one will give you zillow, and eppraisal as well.
I have a question. the our value of a house on the totalview website. where do you get your fmv? I did comps on a house and my fmv was a lot lower than the our value.which is gonna be most accurate?

Comps
Zillow.com has comps that are usually conservative. I know several loan originators that use this site.
