17-year old son jumps in

Took my 17-year old son with me to Boots on the Ground this weekend. Joe Jurek and Chad Merrihew conducted the class and did an outstanding job! My son was enthralled as this was his second event but this one was such a smaller group that he got a lot of his questions answered. We got home late Saturday night. I came home from work today and he had already located himself a realtor in the town he selected to buy real estate in, had contacted the realtor, and had selected three properties to make offers on! Thanks Joe and Chad for lighting a fire under him!

Outstanding!

It is kind of exciting to know that he has in his hands the tools to change his life at an early age. I'll be 50 this year and have spent the better part of almost 34 years working 2 and 3 jobs sometimes as much as 100 hours a week to make a better life for my kids. It's exciting to know he won't have to face that! Thanks for the words of encouragement.

Great- he won't need college,(or the expense) however you'll need to sign contracts as he is a minor, but he can find the deals and retire early!!!

Contracts

We actually set up a separate LLC for him with my LLC owning 1% of the business and my LLC designated as the managing partner for now. That will allow him to conduct business legally until he is 18 and then once he is 18, his LLC will "buy out" my LLC interest. I keep teasing him that he has to take care of mom when I get old but the truth is with Dean's help and all the info here on the website, I'll be able to take care of myself! Thanks for the words of encouragement.
