REA check

Today I met wight the REA that has te same mindset and focus as I do besides he has a team of people to help facilitate. It's been a little difficult getting someone competent whom I can get along with but one less thing to worry about. Truly a investor friendly alliance. Now onto the deals. I just finished watching disc 1 of the edge and it's amazing how much new info I learned in anshort period of time and how well I paid attention u like when in was in school. Off to bunt down an owner of vacant home.

First view of the fsbo

I looked at the fsbo today and it was a exercise worth repeating. Its funny, after reading Deans books and going on DG.com, I gave the impression that I was in expert and actually got another lead from the sellers sister who owns a home she wants to sell in the future. Note to self. You need business cards before you view a property. The woman asked me for cards which I explained I was fresh out of and now I am create them as we speak to mail them to her in a few days. The house has potential but ms owes far more on the home than I was willing to pay and no way of paying it down without. I suggested a leasenoption to her but ms explained that she issuing back a reverse mortgage and the only way to maintain that is by staying as a resident in the home.

My first fsbo

Contacted a fsbo today and going to look at it tomorrow. Excited tomsee what I can come up with. I have the RA working up comps and now getting ready to come up with my offer and strategy to assign this deal. It's starting corm together. 4 more houses to get more info on.

Getting off to a slow start

Well it's been over a week now and I have spoken to avunch of realtors and seem to have found somevthat are receptive to my plan. While waiting on the list from them I began driving around my area and seeking out overgrown properties. I found 5 so far o tomorrow is the day to find the owners and reach out to them to determine interest. The ball is rolling but I want that first deal wrapped yesterday, I want that momentum on tear off into the fall.
Very excited.

Time for a change

In the last year my life has changed alot and it has given me the time to focus on the true priorities in life are. Last February, I bought Deans foreclosure finder and got excited about the prospect, but with work and family responsibilities, it was left by the wayside. Fast forward to this month and I left my job and have decided to focus all my attention and following Dean to success and being the maker of my own destiny. No more corporate world for me. Just picked up rbbp and look forward to executing an aggressive plan to get cash flow. I'm in RI and will accept any suggestions.

Cheers
