Hey DG Family, been a while since I posted, but I had to post to this one it hit really hard, I have to change my thinking every few days to keep going, when life is so beautiful you must ensure everyone that brings a negative to turn it into a postitve, I have been weeding out the negs and it does bring a sort of pleasure and pain at the same time and now I have been linking up with positive people and they are wonderful, everyday is not supposed to be peachy and all that but if you want to survive you do what you have to do. I have one persistent person who fails miserably at trying to best me at every turn, and now they know they cannot keep up, stay up, or create a neg zone with me and I love it, because like the song from Maxwell, I stay prayed up, from here on out...Dean keep your head up and hey my door is open to you and yours

Is there a camera in my house???? :)

This blog is one that we can watch every couple of days just to keep us grounded & focused. If you/me are human we have been there a time or to.
Dean's raw honesty is what keeps us all feeling like a family. DG website is now a tradition in our house btw my hubby & myself.
We are all apart of a greater picture & things happen for a reason...a lot of times when we are forced to slow down & spend time with our kiddos & spouse it does become such a blessing WHEN we can appreciate the moment & opportunity that is handed to us.
It takes courage & strength at times & we may even have to ditch some pride...but when we change for the positive EVERYONE especially us get stronger, recharged & focused.
Strong work Dean, being the example for the kids & all of us.
Making another great family memory. Blessing to you & yours this Christmas season...

GiveThanks for what you have.

Maybe a litle late, but about 5 years ago, I was close to loose my family and all I had because of a job and a bad people around me, I was charge of 4 felony charges number 1, I was in the way of 25 years away from my family for something I never did, is not easy to talk about it, but we are being real here, I was going crazy and in October 2008 I find out my case was close. I did not even had to put a foot in court, I clean my name after that, I was really sad and from that point on, my family, my kids are everything to me, jeck with old days and the pass, you are right, the only way to get a head is give thanks for what you have, your family, and move on, make your own world, what you did about the dinner, bravo, was the best choice.
God Bless you man, you rock.

Congratulations Dean that you realized your situation and you were able to adjust. As you said each of us has our own crosses to bare. For us there was no Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping, Christmas anything! No tree, lights or decorations, etc. Just another set of days. No New Years stuff or resolutions. We had adjusted to this fact ahead of time like you had to. Many very ugly things happened to cause this and caused more ugly based on one. The slippery slope took over. Still have one family member in the hospital and another going back and forth for treatments for the after affects of pneumonia. I'm still not over it either. My best wishes to your holidays coming up.
