OfflineNot sure if this got addressed yet. I wanted to order a lot of business cards from Vista print and I havent established myself with the IRS (tax ID) also the state either. By law would I be mis represtenting myself if I hand out cards with a buisness name if I havent done the official way yet?

As far as I know, you are free to brand efforts (business) however you want (as long as you don't confuse yourself with the likeness of another existing business). The benefits to incorporating when a sole proprietor is mainly for liability and tax reasons, but again, I am not aware of any laws that require you to do.
